OXVA Xlim SQ Kit

OXVA Xlim SQ Kit

All of the earlier versions have been upgraded, and the most recent is the OXVA Xlim SQ Pod Kit.

This features a lovely square form with an included Lanyard rather than the bar shape as the majority of the earlier models. This pod kit, like the others in the Xlim series, uses a refillable yet eventually disposable pod. The coil is located within the pod, as well as the package includes both the 0.6ohm & 0.8ohm variants. You throw away the pod piece & install a new one whenever the coil’s functionality has declined. It includes a 900mAh battery with a USB Type C 1A charge rate, much like the original. Reportedly, you could recharge up to 80 percent in just 30 min. The output range is stated as 5 to 25 W, and this chooses the output based on the resistance of the installed pods.

The square gadget has a fantastic feature that allows you to modify the airflow to your personal preference with a slider on the side.

You have access to an LED indicator that will inform you of the battery & gadget status.

Gold Blue, Purple Black, Pink Green, Arctic Ice, Pink, Black, Gold, & Light Blue are indeed the 8 hues available.

The Quality and The Design

The item is packaged in a compact, very simple box that has a plastic tray for the device plus compartments for the additional supplies. Simple to unpack, but difficult to pack back up!

The directions are rather straightforward but include all the information you want along with an excellent exploded graphic of every component. The lanyard chain is well-made, and it has a clasp to fasten it to the gadget. Although it is a little difficult to clasp, it works effectively. This square version of the previous Xlim models is essentially identical. The thought of fitting a 900mAh battery into this simply seems absurd.

The MOD Design

Rigid plastic makes up the top & bottom of the mod, while aluminum alloy with such a gradient paint job makes up the remainder of the body. Reddy Pink is where it begins at the bottom & transitions into a shiny green-yellow tone.

One side of the mod includes writing that reads “Xlim SQ,” while the other simply states “OXVA.”

The little weeny LED is located on the side wall with the OXVA emblem, but having simply a plain circular LED the size of a pinhead seems a little lazy. The recognizable airflow slider is visible on one side and resembles prior versions identically. The lanyard may be fastened to the loop on the other side. The battery capacity as well as the USB Type C connection, which needed to be engraved with Legal Logos, are located on the base. As previously indicated, the top face is textured & constructed of rigid black plastic. The pod compartment is on the opposite side of the top face, which this takes up half of the. Two spring-loaded contacts, two magnets, as well as the rubber gasket that protects the airflow detector are all located within the container. On the other Xlim models, you could take off this gasket & dry out the area below if you encountered auto-draw or device faults, as well as problems, that would often go away. This version may be used in the same way, but unlike earlier versions, none of the extra gaskets are included.

The POD Design

The pod is made in the same style as earlier iterations.

On the side of the pod, there is a silicone covering over the fill port. Some of these coverings have been known to rip. Although the pods in this kit didn’t have such a problem, they nevertheless couldn’t get a perfect score. Fair enough, though—given how long the pods endure, some wear & tear is to be expected.

Although it is small and difficult to open without nails, it remains a significant improvement. With 10ml bottles and thin nozzles, the fill port must work well. Any larger will just cause you to pour e-liquid somewhere other than where you want it to go! Since you can tilt the pod on its side to check for liquid in the mouthpiece region without removing the pod, the translucent mouthpiece makes examining e-liquid considerably simpler. Every 0.8-ohm pod has a life of around 4000 puffs.

Magnets, contacts, & ventilation holes are located on the pod’s base, along with the resistance & suggested power level. The pod may be installed anyway, & it will still function.

Simple Functions of OXVA Slim

  1. Power On/Off is not a switchable feature.
  2. To activate the auto fire while vaping, inhale through the mouthpiece.
  3. When you vape, the battery indicator lights up. Green means there is 65 to 100% charge remaining, blue means there is 30 to 65% charge left, red means there is less than 30 percent charge left, & red flashes when the battery is entirely depleted as well as the device won’t ignite.
  4. The battery level colors gently pulse from Red to Blue to Green while the battery is charged. The LED goes off after reaching full charge.
  5. Modify airflow by adjusting the slide slider on the mod’s side to enhance or reduce the entering airflow as desired.

Warning Signs

  1. Low battery: The gadget will shut down when the LED flashes red ten times.
  2. Red LED flashes three times in response to a short circuit or low resistance.
  3. Blue LED flashes three times if there is no atomizer or an open circuit.

Charging a battery

  1. Connect the tiny end of the USB type C cable, which is supplied, to the mod’s USB port.
  2. Attach the cable’s big end to a compatible USB outlet.
  3. When fully charged, the LED will cycle through its colors before going dark.
  4. It takes around an hour to charge a device.
